Tomorrow (which just happens to be my birthday) we celebrate the unveiling of brand new murals, including my own on the west wall at Western and Bloomingdale in Bucktown. I finished it just today! This year, I will be exhibiting at the Wicker Park Fieldhouse, 1425 N Damen, with my good friend and collaborator, Kristin Komar. Come visit us, then head over to the Preferred Lofts, where a bakers dozen of my compatriates will be exhibiting: Liza Berkoff, Eric Mecum, Katie Blochowiak, Laura Hagihara, Nikki Hollander, Kelly Pelka, Anna Soltys, David Keel, Robert Burnier, Janelle Cipriano, Sue Fox, Madeleine LeMieux and Russ White. THEN, head to the Flat Iron Building to see Heather Hancock in space 341 and Jennifer Singer at Caffe De Lucca, 1721 N. Damen (hmmm... lunch/dinner break?)

Help me celebrate the end of my busy period by rocking out to the sounds of Mr. Gray, my lovely fiancee, Andrew Tibbetts', 4-man rock band. I believe they are going on at 11, but come earlier to check out the works of the 8 resident artists, including friends Lucas Myers (also part of the Mural Project), Bob Emser and Lacey Pipher. Their studio is one of those huge, high-ceilinged, industrial-esque spaces that spark energy and awe in party-goers. Should be a good time!
